Canva is a great tool to use to create all sorts of different types of posters and handouts. There are all sorts of different templates to choose from. After choosing what template you want, there all sorts of different pictures and layouts that you can choose from and arrange to make a nice poster. This tool is a good way to make posters for all sorts of things, behavior, class rules, instructions, or math resources for early learners. This is a great tool to help teachers get organized. It also helps teachers clearly get the information that they think is most important across to their students.
This tool fits into the First Domain of the Danielson Framework. It helps teachers plan and prepare. It can help teachers create posters for their classroom. It could also be used for a lesson. It could be used to provide resources to students. One element of Domain 1 that this tool relates to is 1d. This shows that the teacher has a knowledge of their resources. Like the poster to the left. It shows all sort of different math tools that early learners can use. It shows the different resources that the teacher knows, and provides these sources to the students in a clear way. This also can be a part of 1b, demonstrating a knowledge of students. This tech tool can show how a teacher understands their students by how the teacher creates and organizes their information for their students through canva. I would definitely use canva in my classroom! It is such a great and efficient way to make posters for a classroom! It is super easy to use, and I could create posters for all sorts of different activities in my class! Also canva would be a great tool for my students! They could use canva for a small project. They could be given a topic, and they could create a poster based off of that topic! I would be a great way to assess if they got the main idea of the topic. Another thing that I could use canva for, would be a book project. The students could create their own book cover, or create a poster giving a little summary of the book with pictures that show what the book was all about! So I can definitely see myself using canva in my future classroom one day!
