In this 2 1/2 week long field, I worked closely with co-teachers in developing a unit plan for the book "A Long Walk to Water". Students engaged in mini-lessons where they gained background knowledge on topics and people in the book. Students worked through the book in class through small group reading, individual reading, online listening, and teacher reading.
Students were given a choice board project where they could choose a project that fit their interest the most in showing their understanding of topics in the book. ![]()
